It is named for the large trough that has been kept in the kitchen. Made with rounded brick and worn down by the feeding animals, is a remarkable testimony to the traditional and historic peasant world of an earlier time.
Some of the stone walls still show ancient insertions of wooden beams, on which are embedded with large nails made by hand, which would be used for hanging tools and finishes for the cows housed here.
The apartment of 40 square meters, is on the ground floor of a hallway, down a few steps, you enter the kitchen, where there’s a comfortable sofa-bed, the bedroom, double, French window, through a “green corridor” linking it to the village and the nearby garden.
